White Cane Law Public Service Announcements
In an effort to raise awareness of the traffic laws that assist blind pedestrians in their safe and independent travel - commonly known as the White Cane Law - The East Hillsborough Chapter has created a series of public service announcements (PSAs). These 60-second PSAs have been designed for distribution to radio and television stations in the Tampa Bay area, as well as for wider dissemination throughout the state of Florida and across the nation. One interesting aspect of this project is that it was directed and created by blind members of the National Federation of the Blind.
